About us

Richard Arnold, MISM, MCSA, has a Masters degree in Information Systems Management and is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate. He brings more than 15 years of experience in computer networks, infrastructure, software, and security, in both small business and enterprise settings.

How we got started

Richard Arnold worked in inside sales/customer service when he purchased his first desktop system in the mid-1990s. He soon realized technical support for individual and small business users was nonexistent. Rick began to teach himself the basics in computer maintenance, culminating in an advanced degree and a completely new career in IT/network management.

Rick’s unique combination of technical and customer service skills made him the ‘go to’ IT expert for friends and associates in our immediate circle. Word got out, and business grew beyond what we could support part-time. The result: Arnold Consulting became a full-time concern in 2005 so we could focus exclusively on delivering exceptional IT services and solutions for our growing list of clients.
